Century 21 Real Estate LLC has raised over $100 Million for Easter Seals families since 1979. This is the 30th Anniversary of the relationship and millions of people have benefited from the generosity of the CENTURY 21® System. This year, our national goal is to reach again over $100 Million in support for Easter Seals.
Our company has been Number 1 with EASTER SEALS in our Tampa Bay area as well as being Number 21 in all of CENTURY 21® North America offices. We organize several events annually for fund raisers. We also annually hold a Beggins Bazaar for EASTER SEALS. In supporting Easter Seals, every dollar collected is kept in the local community! We hold a HUGE garage sale where people purchase on a donation basis. In other words, you donate what you feel an item is worth. We have a car wash, bake sale, book/dvd/video sale, and a barbeque at each event. We have vendors who supply gifts for our drawings.
Easter Seals nationally was founded more than eighty years ago to serve children and adults with disablilities. Today, Easter Seals' mission is to create solutions that change the lives of children and adults with disabilities or other special needs and their families. Through a network of over 140 affiliates, more than one million people receive Easter Seals services each year.
Easter Seals Florida has been providing services in the Tampa Bay area since 1946. At the three Child Development Centers locally, a wide range of early intervention, therapeutic, educational and support services are served together with children who have no disabilities in a setting that fosters the development of all children to their full potential.
The funds raised from Easter Seals events go directly to provide services to the children served by our programs. Specifically, ninety-two cents of every dollar raised is used for the provision of direct services to children and families in this community.
